I have a lady that wants whipped icing instead of b/c. I've never worked with whipped icing. I thought I could ice the cake with whipped and decorate with b/c but I wasn't sure how they tasted together?? Would it taste terrible if you had b/c and whipped icing together??
I have used whipped icing before for some customers who don't like BC. You can stabilize your whipped icing with some powdered sugar and piping gel. Find a good recipe online for stabilized whipped cream. You can decorate with it, but not anything too detailed. I was able to do swags and a border and I placed a toy topper on top of the cake instead of making my own. I don't know if BC would stick to the whipped cream well. It's very soft.
