Why Is My Color Beading Up?

I am spraying color on wilton candy and it keeps beading up on me. Any suggestions? I'm making Christmas balls and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I unmolded them last night and placed them in the fridge. I took them out and brought them back to room temp. I'm lost and getting frustrated. lol icon_confused.gif

coloring candy requires oil based color. You're using water based color.
