Hello everyone,

I am looking for a good frosting for a pumpkin spice cake that I am making.

Anybody have a good recipe that doesn't need refrigeration? I need to travel with this cake so any cream cheese frosting wouldn't work.

Thanks,

Kelly

I know it's waaaaayyyy past due, but for the future!

Earlene's site has a cream cheese recipe that doesn't require refrigeration b/c of the sugar/fat ratio. It makes a lot so you would need to scale down. Not tried it yet though

If you don't want to do this maybe add cinnamon or maple to your regular buttercream, both flavors go well w/ pumpkin
