I am starting my 2nd Wiltons Course at our local Michaels tonight and I was wonding if anyone could tell me what I need to bring as far as icing for the first night? Help

You need to bring a batch of royal icing and your colorflow icing as well. No cake I'm pretty sure. HTH

I am not sure about bringing RI. I believe when I took Wilton course 2 we brought a batch of Buttercream icing as we went over some of the old techniques that we learned in Course 1 and we also learned some new techniques.

On my prep list for course 2 lesson 1:

1 recipe of class buttercream (1 3/4 C Med - 1C stiff- 1/4 c thin with 1/8 tsp of piping gel

for the first class my instructor asked that we bring one recipe of buttercream in two containers.we reviewed stuff from course one

Hi Maddy,

You'll need a bag of thin, medium and thick for the first class. Good luck and have fun. I had a great time making all the flowers for this class. You really start to feel like you can make something special.

You're welcome. My friend and I have continued on with Course II and III and we are the only students. It's been great. All the attention we want and our instructor's been very gracious to switch a few classes to Sunday to accomodate our schedules. Enjoy!
