I charge the same for either one, unless one is particularly detailed or difficult. And I price my cookies by their size, roughly. So a 2" fondant-covered or buttercream-iced or royal icing-decorated cookie in a fairly simple design starts at $18 a dozen, minimum 2 dozen, and the price goes up as the size increases (or the design gets more demanding).
