Cutter & Molds....do You Use Them??

I am a very new decorator and am just getting started with what I have got at the house or what I buy at Michaels.

I was wondering if most of you use cutters and molds?

If so...what are your favorites that you like to use and what do they do?

I want to make sure that I get stuff that will help make decorating a little bit easier/quicker.

Plunger cutters are my favorites for quick and easy embellishments. I'd start with daisy, rose leaf and ivy. I only use molds from time to time on cakes, but all the time on petit fours. The pearl molds are wonderful but take some practice. Get a diamond impression mat. You can use it on both fondant and BC and it makes an impressive look.

I have a ton of cutters. That's how I make a Damask cake design. I just treated myself to the Battenburg lace set.

Battenburg lace, is well a type of lace.

The cutters are from GSA.
