WHEW!!! I'm so glad it worked out and you got CASH!!!
I have my brides give me a $50 nonrefundable deposit to reserve their reception date and findal payment 4 weeks before. This allows any "check" problems well in advance. My contract also states that if payment is late....there's another $50 fee added onto the price. So far I've had no problems.
