I had someone request a whipped cream filling. The rest of the cake will be covered in buttercream with fondant accents. Will the cake still need to be refrigerated with the whipped cream filling?

I figured you would say that
The fondant will only be accents on the top of the cake. Will they be okay once refrigerated? If I instruct them not to touch the fondant until the condensation is gone it should be alright.
