I thought it was just me. I was about to throw my computer out the upstairs window when my "techie" son advised me to "just turn down the volume on the speakers." Some days he must think I'm a complete dork! You're kidding! You too!! I thought I was the lucky one! Darn, and I thought I was so special!
Yes, it's flippin annoying. I just muted my speakers.

Ahh , there is hope! Not sure either of us will make it another 11 years without some heavy medication! (Joking of course). They turn 16, get wheels, job, boyfriend. And it's 'Mom who?' 'Oh, yeah, isn't she the chick I can score some cash from?' 
Hate to say it, but I run Fox everyday, everytime, and still get that damn cheery voice telling me about my Wii. I find myself telling my Mac to Shaddup! 
Ok, I just posted my response above, switched to a different page and got BLASTED out of my skin with that stupid voiceover!! My 9 y.o. son had cranked the volume to play some Lego game online and left it at MAX.
ARGH! 
I have the Google Toolbar on my Internet Explorer, and it blocks all that stuff.
I never get that. I also use Firefox. When this happen does it open a pop up window?

Not when I go into the gallery, but when I came into this thread I did! Yes, that is annoying....I had to hit the mute button quick!
I not only have won a Wii but the smiley at the top keeps yelling "HELLO"
I hate that one!! The yelling makes me jump out of my skin.

That's okay, I usually have my speakers off....my son had the computer last and he listens to youtube...
