and wants my list. Being a relative newbie cake addict, I'd like to put some caking stuff on there.
Would you guys please give me some suggestions by letting me know your favorite resources - books, mags, videos, gadgets, must-haves, etc.
Thanks in advance for sharing!
a good leveler and a good sized silcone fondant mat ( I like Ateco's giant blue mat)
I would love to see what people say to this as Santa has called me as well!
A good stand mixer
large and up-to-date oven
set of round cake pans
set of square cake pans
a couple of 11X15 pans
disposable decorating bags
lots of couplers and tips
large off-set spatula
small off-set spatula
Sugarshack's video
laptop computer to view CC anywhere you go
Tips, tips, tips!!!!! I wish for at least 2 of every kind!
Cake Boss
Square, Round, Oval, Comma pan sets
Cake bible
Bowls lots and lots of bowls!
My big ticket item for this year is a chest freezer! ( Seriously doubt Santa will bring it but hey a girl can wish!)
Kitchen Aid Mixer
Sugar Veil system
Airbrush
Agbay Leveler
Some of these I already have and love.
and, since you're in Georgia, I'd ask for classes from Nic Lodge! He is fantastic!!!
I would also suggest get 2 of everything, like pan sets. I started out with one set of round and square pans and then found myself having to wait around for something to bake because I needed another cake in that size
I hope Santa brings you all everything you desire. ![]()

Cutter
Metal Ball tool (i have plastic one)
A leaf mold and any others he can afford! haha

Offset spatula's big n small
Pans, Pans and more pans
Small fondant rolling pin.
Wire for roses.
and a Manicure! ![]()
The SugarVeil mix is great. Definitely buy that. The machine thingy that they sell looks like an aquarium pump and an assortment of off the shelf items in a plastic tackle box. The price for it is crazeee. If it was something that was manufactured specially or created just for this purpose, then I'd be willing to pay $$ for it. But this is readily available stuff that could be assembled for much, much, much less$.
But the mix - theSugarVeil product is pretty cool.
things I love:
Mailbox News
Wilton professional turntable
stand mixers
things I want:
airbrush
sugarshack's DVD's
Yello, upgrade that turntable to one made by BakeryCrafts or Ateco and you're talkin'.
Chippi, my website was built on a template and is hosted by web.com. It was way easy, and $12 a month. The statistics you get daily are worth the monthly fee. If you sign up for thier hosting you gat a free domain name.
Santa already hinted to me NOT to buy that stand mixer I was eyeing in the ads a week or so ago. Yippee.......(but I want it now.) I'm still in the "taking classes" stage and practicing when I have some free time. I have a long way to go, but so far I've killed two mixers - one stand and one hand-held. They were both very old. Now they're dead!

Dear Santa .... I want it all, plus some.. and a big room just to hold it all!
