ive seen some article on receipes for smahed cake but what is a smashed cake?

I think...I think what your talking about is a smash cake. Im making a cake for my daughters first birthday next weekend and the adults will have the "big" cake and I will make my daughter a smaller "smash" cake. So she can have at it!!

A smash cake is what katy625 said. An extra little cake that a 1 yr old. Gets to smash. It is there own little cake they get to play with and eat and make A BIG MESS. But it is SO FUN thumbs_up.gificon_lol.gif And great pictures. Both my kids feel asleep playing with thier cakes. Nothing better than alittle ones face asleep in CAKE icon_lol.gifthumbs_up.gif Just the thought brings back warm memories icon_biggrin.gif
