ive seen some article on receipes for smahed cake but what is a smashed cake?

A smash cake is what katy625 said. An extra little cake that a 1 yr old. Gets to smash. It is there own little cake they get to play with and eat and make A BIG MESS. But it is SO FUN 
And great pictures. Both my kids feel asleep playing with thier cakes. Nothing better than alittle ones face asleep in CAKE Just the thought brings back warm memories
