I always get myself into things I don't know how to do. icon_rolleyes.gif Anyways, I was asked to make this Optimus Prime cake for a friend's birthday in a couple of weeks, and I'm just wondering where to start, and I guess how to make it. Well, he doesn't show everything so I guess what I'm confused about is do I just use silver luster dust to paint the fondant silver? And do you think I can make the tires purely out of fondant, or is there cake underneath?

mix the luster dust with a little vanilla or vodka to paint with, and yes. The tires are probably just fondant, or fondant over rice crispies.
