Hi I'm making up Mango Coloured Cala Lilies for a Wedding Cake tomorrow and I think they are a bit too orange. I'm wondering do any of you think that having coloured the actual gumpaste orange can I now correct the shading with yellow blossom tinted dusts or am I going to have to bin my perfectly shaped lilies....

I have a lot of trouble getting my colors to be true when doing gumpaste. All you can do is try dusting some with the yellow. I'd do that before I dump all of them. I also sometimes use white pearl dust. At least it hides it some.

Oh I totally adjust base colors with various dusts. All the time.
