i need an idea for filling for a semisweet dark chocolate cake with smbc icing icon_smile.gif
any ideas?

Fruit fillings are always nice with chocolate, but one of my faves is Neutella mixed with buttercream. Yum!

I just made a dark chocolate cake with the Nutella BC for filling and didn't care for it that much. I just really don't care for any cake with BC filling.... I prefer a fruit filling or a light mousse with my chocolate cakes. As for which fruit with chocolate cake...my favs are raspberries or strawberries. TO DIE FOR!

raspberry is my all time favorite with chocolate but you could also try an espresso mouse filling. Coffee and chocolate are a close second for my fav

Chocolate Bettercreme (or mousse) with toffee bits mixed in.

I buy a bag of mini Heath bars and pound 'em up.
