I've been asked to make 6 tortes for Thanksgiving office party.
3 coconut, 1 carrot and 2 yellow with vanilla frosting.
I need a great scratch (no mixes) cake recipe that will wow them on taste for the coconut and yellow. I have a fantastic carrot cake so that I'm not worried about that.
Help please.

Try epicurious.com, they have a ton of recipes but the good thing is that they're all rated by people who have tried them, so you can pretty much avoid the stinkers.
