This is my first time making & using MMF. I now have 4 small batches of it. I'm assuming the next thing is to roll them all out together so that I have one large piece of fondant? Then how do I easily put it on my cake?

My cake, by the way, is a 2-layered 9x13 shaped like a popcorn box.

I'm working on this now so if anyone out there can help ASAP, I'd really appreciate it icon_smile.gif !

Thanks!
Lisa

You roll it over a rolling pin and gently roll it back out over the cake.

Thank you! Here's another question...

How do I color MMF? I just realized that I don't have enough pre-colored Wilton red fondant for the "stripes" on the popcorn bag.

I need to turn some of my MMF red. How do I do this?

If the MMF is already made you can just add the color and then knead it in real good - wear gloves though! It's a little easier to add the color right after you melt the marhmallows and before you add the powdered/confectioners sugar but you can absolutly add and knead it in to already made fondant.

For really large cakes, after rolling out my fondant on my silicone mat, I pick up the whole mat and flip it onto the cake, then you can gently peel it off the silicone mat.
As for coloring it, its way easier to do it right after you've melted the marshmallows...but kneading it works too...just takes a little more elbow grease icon_wink.gif

You can also slide a large board under the fondant and put it over your cake and then gently shake it off onto the cake.
