How Do You Melt Chocolate?

I did it before last christmas when I made fudge, but I lost that recipe and I can't remember how I melted it. I did it in the microwave do you add water so it doesn't burn? I can't remember. icon_cry.gif

In a platic bowl in the micro.... at 20-30 second intervals. take out and stir in between.

For what use?

I did it last night to add to frosting and just melted in the microwave at 30 second intervals until melted.
