a friend asked for a quotation for about 200 cupcakes for her son's 1st birthday....please advice...

the picture sample below is the spec of the cupcake that she wanted...and i made that for free only for a godson...

I think I would say about $.50- $.75 a cupcake or even $10 a dozen.

Cute cupcakes! I just did a cupcake themed wedding shower and made vanilla and chocolate cupcakes in a black and hot pink theme and charged $20 a dozen. She didn't even blink an eye. I did do some shaved chocolate on some, but overall mainly buttercream.

Mine are $3 each .... for 200, I might consider a volume price of $2.50.

The ones I did for my last fall wedding (in my gallery) were carrot pineapple cake, buttercream icing & a painted chocolate leaf. I charged $4 each and the bride never blinked. It was a last minute change in the order and she was thrilled to pieces. I did 120.

I'm doing a baby shower with cupcakes...large cupcakes with bc and I made little white chocolate sailboats for the tops of the cupcakes. I am charging $25 for 18 cupcakes, delivered.
