Someone Quick Please...will Dragees Fall Off??

I'm making a anniversary cake. I have put on the diamond pattern on and was going to attach gold dragees at the top/bottom of the diamonds. Should I wait until tomorrow after I have transfered it to location? I'm nervous the dragees will fall off. TIA

Well if some fall off you can re-attach. Take some with you when you deliver. Is this on fondant or buttercream?
