My aunt is doing her son's wedding cake and they want a traditional stacked weddding cake, but flipped upside down; the smalletst round on the bottom and graduating up to the top tier! We are searching for cake pans with slanted sides to achieve the right effect. We can't seem to find them anywhere. Any suggestions, ideas, pictures??? thankyou so much
Go to Galleriesand search on "Upside Down" and you'll find several pictures of upside down wedding cakes.
Here are a few examples from the galleries...I'm not sure how you would do it though seeing as I'm just learning and I did my first Right Side Up stacked cake last month
. . . this is one of my favs . . . perfectly executed . . . http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1223560

Why an upside wedding cake? I love the upside down divorce pics. That's awesome. I've never seen one at a wedding before though.
Here's one that I like: http://www.seventhheavencakes.com/images/photoGallery/detail/20040426135559.jpg
There was an upside down cake done by one of the Food Network challenge chefs too.
It had a flowerball on the bottom.
My friend's wedding cake in July will be upside down, she doesn't know it yet, though.
