I am looking for an idea for a 40th birthday/halloween themed cake. I do not have a lot of experience so I need something easy. Any ideas will help

Look at the posts in the same forum about a classy halloween cake. They have some nice ideas. You could do a simple layer cake, red or orange cake with black flowers or spiderwebs.

I did a 50th/Halloween cake couple years ago. Its in my photos - Tombstone shaped cake, colour flow skull. He really liked it and it was easy.
