Hello everyone

I'm new to CC and wanted to try this recipe that seems highly recommended, however, I'm in Canada and I don't have access to a lot of the ingredients. Is there someone out there that uses this recipe and buys their supplies this recipe calls for from an online source? I can have it ship to the US as I have a family friend that can send it to me from MI...mostly I have no idea where to get 6x powdered sugar, brite white icing base, and what is the difference b/w regular salt and popcorn salt...

Hi and Welcome to CC, asschergirl. icon_smile.gif

Decoding CC acronyms:

Brite White, Angel White and Snow White are all icing bases. Brite White or Angel White as well as other icing bases might be available at local U.S. decorating shops.

Brite White can be ordered wholesale from

Angel White can be ordered (retail) online by doing a google search for Angel White icing base.

Snow White can be ordered in bulk from (wholesale price but open to the public).

6x sugar is available from Gordon Food Service. (Can find locations at or perhaps restaurant supply stores (where you might also be able to pick-up or order icing base).

Regular table salt has a larger particle size than popcorn salt.
