The wilton candy melts are kosher certified O-U D. Even though they don't contain actual dairy, I can't use them in my cakes. Can I just use colored decorators chocolate bars? or do candy melts have a different consistency all together?
I've never used melts at all, but what about subbing out kosher chocolate and a couple drops of oil instead?L' shanah tova!
