A Question About The Pillow Cakes.....

I'm trying my first pillow cake tomorrow, and the tut. I got from here showed just a nicely rounded top, no buttons. I think I know how to carve out for the button, but I don't know how to get the puckered effect from where the button pulls down. Is that carved as well, or kind of pressed down with the fondant and icing? Any help would be so appreciated. Thank you!

BUMP.......(sorry), I just want to try this today but don't want to mangle my cakes not knowing what I'm doing! I really need some help! Thanks again.

I've only done square pillows but I would definitely carve a few small grooves to make it look like the button was pulling down....jmo
