Royal Icing ~ Drying Time?

This may be painfully obvious to everyone else, but could someone please tell me about how long RI takes to dry? I'm conducting an experiment that seems to be working icon_smile.gif ...

At least 24 hours for smaller decorations, longer for larger/thicker decoarations.

You can also dry them faster under a desk lamp or in the oven with just the oven light on. The oven usually takes over night. Just be sure to leave a note on the oven knob so you or no one else in the house turns it on. icon_smile.gif

I'm laughing my A$$ off because it wasn't supposed to read "crying time".. Freudian slip, I suppose. I've changed it to "drying time".
