We just received a letter from the People to People foundation. He has been selected/ invited to go on a 2 week trip to England & France next summer as some sort of Ambassador in an International Exchange program. He is only in 5th grade this year and they selected him as one of 9 from his school to go through this program.

Supposedly this program was set up by President Eisenhower and each president thereafter has been an honorary chairman.

We have a meeting to go to next month that will give more information. He is so excited about it and I know he won't care if he's away from us or not icon_cry.gif I hope I am able to go also as a chaperone. If not then, guess I'll deal with it.

If anyone knows of this program please let me know.

I don't know about the program, but congrats!!!!!

I have heard that it's good. I keep getting forms to nominate students, though I have never done so. I did write a recommendation for a child who was nominated by someone else. I hope he has a great time.
