For those of you who love the Hershey's chocolate cake recipe, do you modify the recipe to either make unique flavors or to make the cake more interesting?
My friends and family love this cake. It's so tasty and moise. But I am getting tired of making the same thing over and over again!
It's kind of a drag for me too.......I'm not allowed to make any other kinds of cakes anymore! I am making a big batch of cupcakes with this recipe tonight for a work picnic.
I have never modified it......might get my hand slapped! lol........but I would be interested to hear from others who have, as well.
My chocolate cake recipe is very similar to the hershey one. I use a cup of hot coffee instead of the water to intensify the chocolate flavor. You can't taste the coffee at all.
Oh.....my Hershey's recipe already calls for hot coffee, instead of water. Maybe we are not talking about the same recipe? In any event, I would like to hear other variations. So here is a bump!
