Lightning Mcqueen.....help!!

I got asked to make a master cake, (lightning Mqueen) THEN a bunch of little car cakes to go with it................... first i have no clue how to make a big car cake.. let alone a bunch of mini ones!!!!!! anyone have any ideas or instructions on what i could do with this? Maybe i could make RCT mini cars and put them on top of cupcakes?? (that would take forever) Your input would be wonderful!!!

There is a Wilton Character Pan with Lightening McQueen... don't know if you're opposed to using that. As well, Williams Sonoma carried a pan with about eight different car molds in it last Christmas. I bought it and LOVE it! They pop out great and can be adapted to follow any theme you want.

I have a Wilton Lightening McQueen in my pix.

I did a Lightning McQueen cake for my niece last year. It's in my photos.

Let me know if you need anything. I've still got the reference photos I used for him, and all the details on the car (logo, ads, etc).

They sell Nascar pans that you can make into Lightening McQueen.
