How Much Cake To Make?

I need to make a bridal shower cake that will serve fifty people. If I stacked two ten inch cakes and two six inch cakes would that be enough?

According to Erlene's chart (many on cc here use it) http://www.earlenescakes.com/ckserchart.htm it will only server 38.

just as add'l info, the wilton chart (1x2x4) indicates this will serve 38 + 12 = 50 .... to me, that would be a little close for comfort.

if you do square cakes, the 10" will serve 50 and the 6" will serve 18.
