I'm making candy clay for the first time this evening. I melted the wafers added in a drop of Lorann oil and then as I was stirring in the corn syrup it kind of seized up...is this normal?
I just stirred the heck out of it and it is looking a little better...
Any tips?

This is what it is supposed to look like. Once you add the corn syrup and it looks like it is seizing........you've done it correctly. I then dump mine onto a piece of aluminum foil and let it harden. Good luck.
