do you have to use sulley? (the big fury guy, LOL!)
I think that you could do Mike much easier. (he is almost completely round, with a hump for one eye on the top of his head, you could even add fondant arms and legs, they are just long and lanky) He is lime green, and has a LARGE eyeball and a big mouth.
It is a Pixar film so you should be able to pull up some pics from there. Try using the names of the characters with the Monsters Inc title as well.

Here's an easy idea - do Boo's door. Any kid would recognize it instantly. It is white with little pink flowers on it. The whole movie revolves around doors, so you could make a bunch of different texture/colors/sizes of doors.
