Please humor one more OSSAS post. I just cannot wait.

For those of you traveling, How in the world to you transport such a long distance...

Are you flying? Driving?

I am about 3 miles from the fairgrounds so I am curious.

Very carefully. icon_smile.gif I am driving. I really don't know how someone flying manages.

We drive, 19+/- hours. The first year was the only year I attempted transporting a cake. Considering the drive, it held up well. I had a crack where two tiers connected and I didn't plan ahead very well...my (*&* was left on the counter. BTW, it was cake cake.

I wouldn't hestitate to transport another one there should all factors(time, design, no family members in a bind...) allow me the trip again.

I drive with all the cakes in the back of my SUV. Ten and one half hours all they way! Never had any issues.
