I am looking for names and locations of shop that possibly sell diamond impression mats. A friend of mine is going to the U.K. next week and I asked if she could look for me since I cannot find one here in Canada. Thanks!!
we don't get the mats here but patchwork cutters do a diamond cutter which you just press into fondant to mark it. They're available from any cake decorating supply shop.

Will the embosser also work on buttercream or just on fondant?
I've used that cutter on buttercream, it's OK if you chill your cake well first (so the buttercream is quite hard), otherwise it's a bit of a mess! Good luck!
