Well, it's finally done! My first wedding cake. It's sitting here on my kitchen table waiting for tomorrow. I am praying it all works out okay. The design came from the Wilton Wedding Cakes book. It's made up of 11 cakes -- guess it's really a wedding cake display. It's been a rough one today. In the middle of making Sugarshack's buttercream in my 6 qt. KA, it died. I think they're going to have to replace it. It smelled funny before it quit. Also, I had to do one of the cakes (the big) one over because I messed up the line things on the side. So, off came the icing. Ended up not putting the line things on the sides because it made it look too busy anyway. Bride didn't want them but mom did. Talked to mom and she's fine with it.
