thanks for your input
looks like you need slightly stiffer BC for the rose. Yours is good but looks "melty" try adding a little more powder sugar to the icing and see if your rose doesnt hold up any better.
Something looks off with your center, more than just size. It appears as though you made your center "cone" and then just started making petals without wrapping a petal around the cone to form the bud? Maybe it's just the pic, but that's how it looks to me.
I really like the second one you made. Looks more defined.
don't see the picture of the second rose... just a box with a red "x". Not sure if it's my computer or what...??
I am also not thrilled with piping roses. Often I use modeling chocolate or candy clay and make them.... I have liked using a Hershey kiss for the center.
I really like your second one as well. Wrapping the center to make the bud first really made a difference.... ![]()
Jopalis ~ when you see the title in a box like that just click on it and it'll pop up in a different box. That's what I have to do.... ![]()
I also like the second one better. It looks really shiny, but I know that's just the flash on the BC.
Jopalis MOST (but not all) times you see the box with the x in it, click your mouse on it using the right button instead of the left. A drop box will appear and you can choose "show picture"
