wonder if you could find out something the groom does and encorporate that somehow...like you know how some of the doll cakes have been turned into a mermaid sitting on a rock??? Maybe you could do something like that with the groom?? Like him in a kayak on top of a wave (if he was into kayaking), or him with legs (gumpaste/fondant?) dangling over the side of a mountain (if he were a rock climber) you know what I mean??? Find out if he's got any hobbies

Well you did ask for ANY ideas.. But I have another suggestion: Y not put the doll cake on a platform (of square cake) and just have the groom standing holding his bride's hands?
