I'm doing a cake dummy for a county fair and would like to start it early. I know that red colored anything tends to fade quickly, but I was wondering if Satin Ice fades at the same rate as if I were to hand-dye the fondant myself. Anyone have any ideas? Could/should I keep it in a trash bag in a closet for 2 weeks??? TIA...

I have a cookie that I decorated for my sister's wedding on 07/07/07 and I was just commenting to her when she was in town last week that the red flowers hadn't faded. The pink, however, fades no matter what I do.

thanks so much... I'm going to place an order now that I have a little bit more confidence in it. I did self-dyed pink last year, and it faded in 2 days...
