I'm trying to make a mold out of horseshoes for a cake I want to make. I need chocloate horseshoes for a topper. So I need to make the mold out of something the chocolate will easily come out of once it has hardened. Maybe if I used good ol' plaster of paris and sprayed the mold with Pam before I filled it? I don't know. Any suggestions would be great.

You can make your own mold with gumpaste.

There are directions on how to do it on b aking911.com (no space), just do a search on that website.

You can also make a mold out of gelatin... PM me if you want the recipe.

And there are candy molds for lifesize horseshoes. Easiest option.
