I am new to decorating and have not used fillings yet. My son wants a raspberry filling in his cake. Is there a filling I can buy? TIA

I like to use raspberry preserves (not jam) either straight from the jar or mixed with french vanilla mousse.

Check you local cake decorating supply store ( if you have one nearby). You can buy (either online or in a store) a 2# sleeve of raspberry filling that is put out by CK Products. They also sells lots of different flavors

Someone gave me this link the other day....she said that's the only place she buys filling....I couldn't find raspberry at the time....but it may be on there.

Also, if you go to www.ladycakes.com she has an AWESOME raspberry filling recipe....just used it last night...hope this helps!

You can also buy Solo brand raspberry filling--it it canned filling and near the pie filling in the grocery store. I have used that when I needed a small amount of filling and it is quite good. icon_biggrin.gif
