HELP! Has anyone solved the lumpy/gritty buttercream problem? I have made a batch of the same BC I always make no brand changes same trans fat in larg as always and it is not smooth and has afine lumpy texture!HELP
OK I made a 2nd batch and it came out ok FYI this is what I did different ly the 2nd time 1)closed the windows and turned on the AC and 2) since I had just bought the shortening and it was colder than when I take it out of my pantry I warmed it up a bit before I creamed it >Something helped so I hope my success helps anyone out there having this same problem
You might also try sifting your sugar, that should help with the lumps.
