Pirate Ship Out Of Rkt.... Need Advice!!

Hi Everyone...
I'm attempting to make a Pirate Ship out of RKT. This is my first time working with the RKT and I was hoping that some of the experts here on CC can give me some pointers on the best way to go about this. Do I try and just shape the Ship while the RKT are still warm? Should I buy the pre-made ones? Any suggestions on the best way to shape it like a ship? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
sorry... no help with the RKT - do you have to put it on the top of a sheet? I carved this one out of cake and it was really easy. If you were putting it on top of a cake could you make a small one out of cake? I would say that making a small one shouldn't be a problem. You could carve it out of a loaf pan...
