Hi! i just want to ask if what kind of cakes are used for fondant icing? I only use pound cakes. Can I also use chiffon cakes? or other kind? I hope you can help me.

hi jubeken,
I use the Dream Cake recipe:

1 box any flavor dun/hines cake mix
1 env. powdered dream whip
1 box cook & serve jello pudding ( any flavor)
4 lg. eggs
1/4 cup oil
1 c. water

bake 325-350 40 minutes

I got this from a lady I met in Hobby Lobby who took the wilton classes.
It has worked great for me. Everyone loves it.
