Can a cream cheese icing be tinted without any problems?

Yep I tint mine
I will say yes but some cream cheese icings tend to have a yellowish tint to them, so if you add blue, it may come out with a greenish-tint. If you add red or pink, it may come out a little orangey. Just adjust your coloring if necessary.
