Satin Ice

I just ordered Satin Ice in multi colors for the first time. I read on another post on CC's website, that the Black Satin Ice stinks. Is this true? If so does it make your cakes smell bad? New at decorating, and was just curious.

I have used black Satin Ice. I actually have some right now so I went and opened it up to see what you were talking about icon_smile.gif I didn't notice any difference between it and the other Satin Ice fondant.

I use it all the time. I have had no problem with the satan ice products in the colors or white. Great stuff.

I use black satin ice all the time because i hate having to color fondant if not necessary..I have never smelled anything wrong with it, smells like the other satin ice fondant to me...

Great, Thanks for all the post. I hate to color fondant also, so I broke down and bought satin ice to give it a try.

I have used Satin Ice in white, pink, and purple (not black) but I find they all smell the same. People like it.
