Is there a trick to it? Or do you just treat it as a cake by icing it with buttercream and then covering it?

I just started playing with it myself...someone had suggested grinding up the rice krispies alittle in the food processor..I did this and also worked it will oiled gloved hands to make it as smooth as I could. I covered it with regular buttercream, like I would a cake. But it is important to have it smooth, like cake...or all the bumps will show!
