I don't think your dragon is a disaster at all. I just came into this thread and was expecting to see a bad cake, and then I see your adorable dragon. I can't believe you think he's bad. You did a wonderful job on him and I think kids would love him too!

I think you are being really hard on yourself. I think the cake is very cute. I think you should remember who your audience is. One commentor said that her child looked at it and knew exactly what it was- and thought it was cute, what's better than that. With 3 year old twins, I've found they are the most honest people walking the earth. Don't put youself (or your work down). If you don't like it, redo it, but for the most part the concensus is, you did a great job!

I too thought I was going to see a really bad looking cake. I had to take a peek because I'm a newbe and thought someone else is just like me. I think the cake is very cute and I like the bubble idea.
