Hello Everyone,
This past weekend was my cousin's wedding. The bride asked that I make the cake and of course I said yes. I couldn't refuse. Then she asked for the cake to be similar to her dress. Her dress was gorgeous with lots of gatherings. My sister and I made the 5 tired cake together. We had lots of low points and many high ones. It took us many, many hours to complete. Below is a picture of the cake (sorry not the greatest pic) and her dress. Thank you for looking.

Thank you all for the kind words. My sister and I have been decorating cakes for a little over a year now. We are self taught. We watch lots of youtube, dvds, and read lots of books. We still have a lot to learn, but we are picking it up little by little.

omg this was one of the cakes i saw and was just astounded. its breathtaking! what a lucky bride to get a cake so beautiful and matches so well with her dress... thats such a wonderful memory she'll have to keep with her always
