I'm SO excited! A friend of mine just told me my cowgirl cake made it in the Sep/Oct 2008 addition of Mailbox News magazine! I haven't gotten my issue yet and just renewed the subscription last month so I sure hope it comes.
It's a full page picture too! Woohoooo!!!! 
I made that cake for last year's Arizona State Fair. It was my first time covering a cake in fondant so I did it totally the wrong way by pieceing it together here rather than covering each tier with a big sheet of fondant. But luckily you can't tell. 
I was honored to win a 1st place blue ribbon and Best of Show with this cake too! And now it's in the magazine...yee haw!

Thank you everyone! It's funny how something like this just makes a person so proud! I got my issue in the mail today and must have looked at that page 50 times already.
I know a lot of other people from here have had their cakes in the magazines too. In fact, I know IndyDebi and tonedna have cakes in that issue too. Congrats to them too!!! Anyone else? Shout it out!
