yeah!
I just wanted to share...
I got 1st place for my cookies (the seasonal tree scenes) icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

and I got 3rd in the Bridal (tiered) cakes (Non-Professional) icon_smile.gif

I'm pretty stoked to do so well at a State fair!

there were 6 cakes entered in the bridal catagory for Non-Pros and 2 in the Pros. The professional cakes were outstanding! I thought you might enjoy seeing all the entries.

Certainly no surprise about those cookies taking 1st! I wouldn't have wanted to compete against them. Your cake was gorgeous, too! Loved the butterflies. Congratulations.

I shared your cookie pics with my daughter, who saw last years winners and came home and said, "Oh mom, we can blow 'em away next year!"

She saw your pics and said, "Wow, she really blew 'em away this year!!"
