Is Cc Date And Time Wrong?

I noticed that when I post a comment the date shows as Aug 4th and a different time! Do I not have a brain today or is CC messing with us. lol

You need to fix your time zone in the settings....it was like this for me too until I fixed it icon_biggrin.gif

Ok, what did I do wrong? The time is showing Aug 5 and it's 2am? Today is Aug 4th 6:30pm where I live. Can anyone help? What does GMT mean in the time zone area of my profile?

Ok gals, I must just be an idiot but I don't know how to set the time. I am in Wisconsin on central time and all I see is this GMT thing. Can someone help me out?

I'm in Illinois, so in the Central timezone. On CC mine is set to GMT-6.

My date has been stuck on 17-07-2008 ever since that day. I posted something about it, but I have not gotten any responses. I too am clueless on what timezone to try and fix it. I'm in East Texas, its about 6:50pm Aug 4th. Can anyone help?? icon_redface.gif

Hi, I've noticed lately also, that when I come to the site my time is wrong. Thought I was cracking up icon_lol.gif

Anyway, to change the settings is to right click on the time setting. You will find this in the taskbar - bottom right hand side of screen.
Chose adjust date/time
From the next screen, chose Time Zone
from the drop down box select your area.
Lastly, hit Apply.
That will set your time properly.

Thanks, JodieF - I'm in Central time zone, too, and I just changed mine and it is fixed now!! I've been wondering about this, too! Yeah, it's nice to have it right finally!!

Okay, I must be the lamest of them all! I still don't know what GMT..I am in southern ca. It's 7:47 here now...anyone help? My sis-in-law here on CC says my time is still set in the future..hmm..she keeps asking what the lotto numbers are where I am in the future! LOL!!
